Risk disclosure
Everything on this site concerns perpetual futures — leveraged derivative contracts — offered on centralized exchanges. Before acting on anything you read here, understand what that means:
- Leverage risk. A small adverse price move can liquidate your entire margin. Losses occur faster and are larger than in spot trading. European regulators treat these products as high-risk derivatives for a reason.
- Regulation varies wildly by venue. Some venues covered here offer perpetuals through EU-licensed investment entities with capped leverage and appropriateness tests. Others are offshore and not licensed by any financial regulator relevant to you — no deposit insurance, no investor-compensation scheme, and usually no legal recourse if funds are lost. Every review states which case applies. A licence limits how a product may be sold to you; it does not make losses less likely.
- Custody risk. Funds on a centralized exchange are held by that exchange. Exchange failures, freezes, and withdrawal halts have repeatedly cost users their balances.
- Volatility and funding costs. Crypto markets move violently and perpetuals charge ongoing funding payments that can erode positions.
- Jurisdiction restrictions. Venues restrict access from certain jurisdictions. It is your responsibility to know whether use is lawful where you live. We do not assist with circumventing restrictions.
